FALL BALL SPECIFICS:

It is FLL's belief that Fall Ball is a time for fun while getting to work on the fundamentals of the game in a lower pressure environment. Players get in a little extra play at the level they were at in the spring, or they can play up to the next level if they want to attempt to advance to that level next Spring.

Note: If your child does play up a level in the Fall, it is not a guarantee they will play at that level the following Spring.

Fall ball generally has games on the weekends and one or two practices during the week. The season runs from the first week in September to the last week of October. Like any sport, any season, coaching is always needed.

With any baseball season, to have teams, we need coaches, so please consider volunteering to be a coach.

Bronze (A and AA) - League Ages 5, 6 & 7

- Players will take part in one practice during the week (sunlight dependent) where they will continue to learn the game of baseball.

- A focus on fundamentals, but more importantly, game situations will occur.

- Opportunities for potential graduates to Double AA will exist where player pitching practice and game situations will be presented to the players.

- Games will consist of 60-90 minutes of play (2 to 3 innings) and will either be coach or player pitching (manager discretion).  If a player pitches, he/she will be allotted 4 walks before a coach will come and finish an inning. A focus on game rules will be presented where teams will follow FLL AA baseball rules (3 outs, 5 runs per inning).

- Players must have played in Single A or AA in the previous Spring Sesaon.

- Please note, we will require at least 14 players to be signed up for this division. If we are short of registrants by 8/25, we will contact those that have registered and discuss options at that point in time

Silver (AAA) - League Ages 8,9,10

- Players will take part in one practice during the week (sunlight dependent) where they will continue to learn the game of baseball.

- A focus on fundamentals, but more importantly, game situations will occur.

- Kids pitch at this level. There are umpires. All regular Little League baseball rules are used. 5 run cap per inning.

- Players must have played in AAA or AA in the previous Spring Sesaon

Gold (Majors) - League Ages 9,10, 11

- Players will take part in one practice during the week (sunlight dependent) where they will continue to learn the game of baseball.

- There is still a focus on fundamentals, but game situations become more important.
- All regular Little League baseball rules are used.
- Players must have played in AAA or Majors in the previous Spring Sesaon

50/70 - League Ages 11, 12, 13

- Players will take part in one practice during the week (sunlight dependent) where they will continue to learn the game of baseball.

- Full baseball rules are used. There is leading and stealing on the pitch.

- This field is a little larger than the little league field, allowing older players to get a taste of what they will graduate up to in Seniors or Middle School baseball.

- Players must have played in Majors the previous Spring season
